Third way Alliance leader Dr. Ekuru Aukot said that he was happy that president Uhuru Kenyatta borrowed from his manifesto.
He said this is a step in the right direction as the president had promised to incorporate the good ideas from his opponents in his last term.
Aukot argued that the issues addressed on lowering the cost of power for manufacturers had been addressed in the first pillar of the Third way Alliance Manifesto.
Ekuru Aukot insisted that his party would keep the government in check and act as the opposition within the legal framework.

He commended president Uhuru Kenyatta on his inauguration saying that he Had also hired economic analysts to analyze the speech as it would have a huge implication on current policy.
Dr. Ekuru Aukot said that the Third way Alliance had a lot of ideas that would shape Kenya.
