Detectives have seized several litres of illegal petroleum hidden in Ruai, Nairobi County.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) reports that the officers confiscated the products hidden in Thuita farm.
Following the raid, detectives arrested three suspects linked to the fraud.
The three were identified as Patrick Kinunthia Nyambura, Nicholas Ngatia Gunia and George Wanjogu.
The police are processing them before they’re arraigned in court.
Yesterday, in a separate incident, detectives based at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) impounded 500 Kilograms of dry khat.
The DCI reports that the narcotic packed in 52 bags-concealed tea packets, was identified during the screening process at the airport.
One suspect has been arrested in connection to the incident.

Reports indicate the package was sent by various exporters and was on transit to United States, Australia and Austria.
