Dennis Oliech returned to training on Tuesday after weekend’s standoff with the Gor Mahia management over his pending sign on fee.
Oliech stayed away from the team and was not part of the squad that beat NA Hussein Dey 2-0 in the Caf Confederation Cup at the Kasarani Stadium on Sunday.
The former Harambee Stars skipper, who is returning to active football after close to two years out, refused to go to camp unless his sign of fee of Ksh1.6 million was paid.
He signed a two-year contract with the Kenyan champions early this year and was supposed to have been paid the amount by end of January.
In an interview with the Daily Nation, the player’s brother and agent Ken Oliech insisted that his client would not train or play unless he is paid in full.

Ken accused the club of not hiring their word and for taking them in circles.
But Oliech made his way to Camp Toyoyo today for training after reportedly apologizing to the technical bench.
According to a Kahawa Tungu source , Oliech reportedly admitted to being misled to strike.
Gor Mahia will play Tusker FC on Wednesday in a rescheduled KPL match at the Kasarani Stadium before they depart for Algeria on Friday for the return match against NA Hussein Dey on Sunday.
Kahawa Tungu sports desk can confirm that the amount has not been paid but the club has pledged to do so when they get funds.
