DCI Gun Down Armed Thug In Nakuru, Manhunt Launched For 5 Others

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has on Tuesday morning gunned down a man suspected to be an armed thug in Nakuru.

In a statement issued, the DCI noted that five other accomplice of the shot thug escaped after detectives pursued them.

The DCI detectives noted that they acted on information offered by the public about the group of armed thugs that has been terrorizing residents within Rhoda Market, in Nakuru.

During the raid, the officers confiscated assorted gas cylinders, pangas and a knife.

DCI added that they are on a lookout for the his accomplices.

In the recent past, Rhoda Market business owners have decried their safety as the gang being sort after has been blamed of causing security concerns.

The thugs have been accused of stealing from the residents and in some cases even physically attack their victims.
