CS Amina Mohammed has declared that all secondary school gates should be kept open while KCSE is still ongoing.

Non-authorized persons, including teachers would not be allowed inside the compound or allowed to hang around the school.

The Education CS announced the new measures after visiting an examination center in Lang’ata.

She directed that invigilators should not take breaks in the middle of an ongoing examination as it gives room for students to cheat.

She also directed security officers should sit in positions where they have a full view of the examination materials, while the first paper is underway.

Ms Mohammed confirmed that all examination materials to be delivered to examination centers must have Kenya National Examination Features.

She said that the new measures are meant to curb loopholes in exam cheating.
