Justice Sergon has ordered that blogger Cyprian Nyakundi be served through his social media pages in a matter that was certified as urgent.
He also said that the defendant, Nyakundi was prohibited from tweeting or posting any issue regarding the matter. According to the plaintiff the tweets which they term as libelous and malicious have cost him business.
The blogger’s failure to withdraw the tweets from his social media platforms have apparently caused the plaintiffs irreparable damages and prejudice.
Nyakundi had earlier stated that he would continue to tweet the said tweets and statements.
The judge issued an injunction prohibiting the blogger from posting the tweets until the case is heard with both parties present on June 7.
The advocates of the plaintiffs had already served Nyakundi with multiple demand letters but the blogger failed to adhere to the demands that had been enlisted in the said letters.
