A congratulatory message carried in a local newspaper by two Jubilee Governors over UhuRuto re-election has caused a stir over the same wordings that point to copy pasting.

The messages by Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and his Kiambu Counterpart Ferdinand Waititu bear the same wordings save for the Counties’ names.

This has led to speculations on whether the messages were authentic from the said County bosses or they came from one source touted to be the State House as a “directive.”

In the message, the two emotionally recount of tears, sweat and hard work as what best describes the journey that led to the re-election and expressed how proud they were further pledging “solidarity, support in the efforts of nation building.”

The two become the first Jubilee governors to congratulate UhuRuto on a National Medium since the Supreme Court upheld their election on Monday, November 20.
