Gospel musician, Christina Shusho is facing backlash for using her gospel song, Umenifanya ning’are Yesu to secure an advert with Unaitas Sacco.
The singer is being criticized for twisting a song that was meant to praise God, to praise a company for her own commercial gain.
People had different reactions after the conversation was started on Twitter by Philip Etale.
“Christina Shusho you just shifted the ‘Umenifanya Ningare Yesu song( you make me shine Jesus) to Umenifanya Ningare UNAiTaS to secure an advert edge? Isokey.” one user commented.

UNAITAS must respect Gospel Music… corruption gospel song to suit their business interests is wrong.

Christina Shusho keeps commenting how Kenyan gospel artistes do gospel. Lady just spoilt her 'unanifanya ning'are' song for a mere Unaitas commercial. The song was too awesome to be degraded that much.?
