Kenya has nominated the former chairman for the commission on the implementation of the constitution (CIC) Charles Nyachae as a judge to the East African Court of Justice.
Charles Nyachae who is a qualified lawyer having practiced law for 26 years in his law firm Nyachae and Ashitiva advocates brings a myriad of experience from serving also on the commission on the implantation of the constitution.

Charles Nyachae had been nominated by the Jubilee party to be a member of the east African Legislative Assembly (EALA) but failed to garner the adequate votes from parliament to secure a spot
Nyachae will be sworn in today during an East African Community Summit in Kampala.
