Deputy presiding officer, Caroline Odinga who was found dead on Saturday morning a few metres away from her home was apparently being interrogated by senior IEBC officials before her murder.
According to Ms Odinga’s husband, Mathias Otieno, his wife complained about ‘massive interrogation’ by IEBC officials on Friday.
”I had previously overheard a conversation between her and another female presiding officer complaining about massive interrogation during their meeting with IEBC officials on Friday, August 18. That was the last time I saw her. her phone was switched off and no other relative had heard from her. I believe she was abducted and killed but they dumped her near our home,” Mr Otieno said.
Caroline, 39 was a teacher at Ugenya High School and was a Deputy Presiding Officer at Miyare Primary School during the just concluded poll.
