Ken Lusaka, Bungoma Governor, was on Sunday accused by Senator Wetangula of ferrying people from outside Bungoma to attend the various rallies graced by the President and his deputy over the weekend.

The two Bungoma leaders from different political divides, threw accusations at each other with Ken accusing Wetangula of doing the same thing.

Ken Lusaka, the now Jubilee party supporter said on Twitter, ” Just because 2 weeks ago, you were transporting people from outside Bungoma to your farcical rally, now you imagine everyone does the same.”

The NASA principal, accused the jubilee party of renting crowds who he said were not paid after being scorched by the hot sun. Wetangula ttok to Twitter with his accusations saying, ”The rented crowd for jubilee Bungoma rally stranded after brokers cheated them. Pole sana.”

Protests have since erupted in Bungoma with rowdy youth accusing the Governor Ken Lusaka and Sirisia MP John Waluke as the leaders who ferried them to the rallies with the promise.

The angry youths were demanding pay from their leaders for attending President Uhuru Kenyatta’s rally. The angry youths burnt Jubilee part T-shirts and said the ruling party is not welcome in Bungoma as it is a National Super Alliance (NASA) stronghold.

The crowds camped outside the governor’s office because they did not have money to go back to where they allegedly ferried from.
