Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi has been released after three days at the Muthaiga police station. The Director of public prosecution (DPP) Noordin Haji said that the self declared president of the boy child should not to be arrested again without his authorization.
According to the DPP, Cyprian was arrested for contravening section 66 of the penal code on alarming publications which is a misdemeanor and did not attract a three day detention period.

The blogger was arrested on Tuesday at the Milimani law courts as he was attending a mention of his case. The prosecution office in had requested for an extension of custodial orders which were granted by the chief magistrates court in Kiambu.
The DPP directed that the Miscellaneous Application file be withdrawn and the application declared as closed.
Apollo Mboya who was representing him confirmed the bloggers release through his twitter page.
