    Barclays Bank “Fake” Cash Suspects Denied Bail, Detained At Kileleshwa Police Station

    Four suspects in the Sh2 billion fake notes at Queens Way branch, Barclays have been denied bail.

    The four; Eric Adede, Ahmed Shah, Elizabeth Muthoni and Irene Wairimu Kimani will be detained at Kileleshwa Police station.

    Resident Magistrate Zainab Abdul ordered that the suspects should be detained for 5 more days pending investigations.

    Two bank officials have since turned into state witnesses.

    They are Boaz Ochich and Charles Manzi.

    Police sought to hold them for 10 days to allow them ample time to complete investigations.

    The four respondents were arrested on Tuesday by Flying Squad officers.

    On Wednesday, another safe box belonging to Mr Adede was handed over to the DCI sleuths.

    They will be appear in court on March, 26.
