Auma Obama, President Barack Obama’s younger sister, has criticized Kenyans on Twitter (KoT) who expressed their hate for the country.
Ms Obama first expressed her disappointment with Prof Wajackoya who while on an interview at KTN said that he was ‘ashamed to be a Kenyan citizen.’
The Professor cited the election amendment laws that were passed by the National Assembly on Wednesday. He said that they (amendments) made Kenya ‘a laughing stock internationally.’
A number of Kenyans shared the Professor’s sentiments.
If you aren't ashamed then you have a problem, perhaps you have enough to eat and merry

But the ‘And Then Life Happens’ author rebuked their thinking saying that ‘you hate your country? Change it! Cos there is nowhere else to go! And fighting each other won’t gain you that space!’
Some blamed the former US President for their woes because he ‘endorsed impunity’ during his visit to Kenya in 2015.
Auma asked the people to rise above being Luo, Kikuyu, Kamba and do something about what ails Kenya.
We must each blame ourselves as Kenyans for not takng a stand AS A UNITED NATION. Don't blame look at what u can do! https://t.co/Xdt3MHW63e

kenya as a country, we are all kenyans no matter which ethnic community you come from and no ethnic community is above the rest, since we all share the same resources.
The problem infortunately is we dont share resources.
When we talk of an under performing fish factory in Nyeri and Mombasa does not have one.
Whose job is it to set up a fish factory in Mombasa? You cannot convince any investors that it is a great investment opportunity?
we should enhance diversity
