Armed Gangsters Rob Shop Sh1 Million In Kisumu

Police in Kisumu have launched manhunt for suspected gangsters who raided a shop in Kisumu’s down town area, making away with Sh1 million.

The suspects raided Kavirondo Fishnets Sundry and Hardware limited near New Victoria Hotel in broad daylight.

According to a police report, the gang riding on a motorbike forcefully gained entry into the business premises.

They are reported to have brandished their guns at the customers and attendants before making away with the money.

After the incident they are reported to have escaped on a standby motorbike to an unknown destination.

CCTV footage from surveillance cameras on the ground couldn’t help identify the thugs as they wore helmets.

The incident, comes hours after a video emerged of a two men robbing a woman at gun point in the middle of the street.

In the undated video that is believed to have been retrieved from a CCTV camera in Makande in Mombasa county.

In the video , three men are seen walking past the woman as she tries to complete a transaction at the money agent.

Two of the men turn and head for the woman with one withdrawing for his gun The other man picks the lady’s bag as the three escape using a motor bike.
