Renowned witch doctor, Annah Mutheu’s house was on Monday night raided by Flying Squad unit.
The officers sought to find if the wealthy witch doctor is indeed involved in a car theft syndicate.
During the 15 hour search, police discovered 112 identity cards belonging to different people but no guns were found. The ID cards he explained, belonged to clients who could not raise money to pay for her services.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, the DCI noted that they recovered a stolen Isuzu Lorry, Toyota Hilux and a Nissan Matatu.
But according to the witch-doctor, her son is to blame for her woes as he left car spare parts at her Machakos home.
“Why did you leave those car spare parts in my house? Now, the police have raided my place and found them in the house. It is because of them [car parts] that they are accusing me of stealing vehicles, dismantling them and selling the disjointed parts as replacements to those who need them. I am about to be arrested for what I know nothing about,” Ms Mutheu told her son over the phone, reports eDaily.
The police are said to have taken away her phone before taking her to an unknown location.
