The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) board has appointed George Kiondo as the acting chief executive, replacing Angela Ndambuki.
Ms Ndambuki, former Tatuu singer, has held the position since September 2017, but the board decided not to confirm her. She was previously the CEO of Performers rights society of Kenya, which is a performer works licensing non- profit company, appointed as a collecting society.
Chairman, Kiprono Kittony confirmed that the board had made the decision not to confirm Ms Ndambuki’s appointment.
Mr Kiondo was the acting chairman before Ms Ndambuki was appointed in acting position.
