Is Amina Abdi set to take over NTV’s The Trend after her two year stint at K24 Alfajiri?

Word has it that she will be taking over from Larry Madowo who quit the show because he ‘could not compete with his students anymore.’

Larry felt like every Friday night show was trying to copy The Trend and felt it was time to let others take over. Taking over was Njambi Koikai, Anita Nderu and sometimes Ciru Muriuki who over the weekend left the show.

Ms Abdi, also the Turn Up show host alongside DJ Joe Mfalme on her last day at MediaMax said: ”I have been with K24 Alfajiri for the last two years and its been amazing, check out my page for more information on where I’m headed next! ?.”

The TV host cum radio personality also quit her Capital Fm gig ‘Hitsnothomework’ a while ago.

Rumour also had it that Citizen Tv’s Ten Over Ten co-host Willis Raburu was also making his way to Nation Centre but with a bump in his salary, he stayed put.
