Al-Ghurair Presidential Ballot Tender Cancelled, NASA Blindly Celebrates

raila

The High Court has ordered the IEBC to advertise a new tender for printing of the presidential ballot papers

However, the court has allowed the Dubai-based Al Ghurair Printing company to proceed with the printing of ballots for seats like MCA, MP and governor.

Judges Joel Ngugi, John Mativo and George Odunga faulted IEBC for failing to consult all the candidates in the August poll before awarding the tender to Al Ghurair.

The judgement might not mean well for NASA as the fact that two companies might be allowed to print ballot papers is hard to monitor than when one company was printing. NASA might see this as victory but it doesn’t mean well for them.
