Akorino model popularly known as Pesh Kenya was on Wednesday forced to apologize after her photos in a swimming costume caused a stir online.
Pesh, known for her stylish Akorino attire, had posted pictures of her having good time in a swimming pool.
In a series of Tweets, Pesh expressed her regrets for posting the pictures.
“I would like to apologize to anyone who might have been offended by any images posted on my social media pages. I believe that people can express themselves in very many ways and still have their morals intact,” she said.
The lass, noted that she uploaded the pictures innocently and did not expect the kind of conversation that arose afterwards.
“The images shared were innocent but the conversation that raised from them DON’T match with what I stand for as a young Akorino lady. Thanks for you support and I wish you all a lovely week.”
In one of the photos, she is pictured wearing a black knee-length swim jumpsuit.
Another close up photo shows a section of Pesh’s cleavage.
However, her apology didn’t go well with a section of netizens who felt there was no need to apologize as the pictures were not explicit.
“Korino anaAppologise for posting pictures in a swimming pool. Mna shida,” Owich replied in a tweet.
“Do you take your showers in clothes? Shouldn’t be victimised for swimming costumes,” Mulladih posted.
“You shouldn’t have to apologize to anyone for being you. This is your life and you should be enjoying it. Don’t let how you live it be dictated by people’s opinions,” Timo shared his mind.
