Airtel Kenya Donates Computers to Nyamira Girls Secondary School

Airtel Kenya today donated 25 computers to facilitate e-learning for students at Nyamira Girls Secondary School in Bondo District. The Company will also fund the rehabilitation of infrastructure at the school as part of its program to enhance learning amongst students in Kenya.

Airtel is working in collaboration with the Camara Foundation, a volunteer organization dedicated to using technology to deliver education more effectively in African communities to provide the computer hardware while Airtel will pay for the computers and improvement of the school’s computer labs to ensure connectivity and access to the learning materials by the students in safe and comfortable learning environment.

The computers come fully loaded with the current education curriculum.

Airtel is also assisting other schools in Kenya including Kimuchu Primary school in Thika Municipality and Kipeto Primary School in Kajiado in line with the ‘Our School’ Corporate Social Responsibility initiative
