Nairobi County Governor, Mike Sonko is on the offence after city lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to ‘disband a functionally dead Nairobi County government.’

Ahmednasir alias the ‘Grandmullah’ asked Uhuru to take over the Sonko led government and take over all its functions and services.

Hitting back at the lawyer, Sonko has accused the city lawyer of being a ‘conman’ who also intimidates judges.

“Buree kabisa & u should stop intimidating Judges,” the governor said on Twitter.

Sonko also made reference to the eight year Temple Point Resort case where the senior counsel dragged him to court accusing him of conspiring to defraud a German couple of the luxurious hotel valued at about Sh1 billion.

“U conman Ahmednassir after obtaining millions from your German client with all your Cornell University degrees vs my Kamiti, Shimo Prisons & KEMU degrees I still beat U at the High Court & Court of Appeal in the Temple Point case,” he further stated.

In the recent past, Sonko named Interior PS Karanja Kibicho as one of the government officials trying to undermine and plotting to harm him.

In a recording doing rounds on the internet, the PS is heard saying that ‘if I decided to go after Sonko, then he would not last a day.’

Sonko, during an interview on one of the local radio stations that the PS has been pushing him to nominate a Kikuyu as the Deputy governor.

“The Deputy Governor will be a Kikuyu because they have a larger population that supported me. Let me choose the Kikuyu I want, a technocrat, a professional, an elite and not the one Karanja Kibicho wants.”
