Kahawa Tungu can reveal that former Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards are courting Zoo FC’s Mike Madoya for a possible transfer to the den.
Ingwe have already raided the Kericho based outfit for left full Isaac “Lefty” Kipyegon. They signed him for three-years.
Madoya scored 14 times in the just ended KPL season and was nominated for the most valuable player award.
He won the award in 2017 on his debut season but failed to secure a big transfer move which usually comes with winning the accolade.
Meanwhile, Zoo boss Ken Ochieng’ has allied fears that the club is losing a lot of players which could affect their performance next season.
Ken holds that the club has a seamless transition program for youngsters from youth set up to the senior team and the players that have left will create room for new blood to come in.
“We have very good players but they are not known because they have not been given opportunity to shine, with others leaving they will have their day to shine.
“Again we cannot promise players what we don’t have, if someone gets a good deal elsewhere we cannot stand on their way,” Ken added.
