Aaron Ochieng’ Apologizes To Joy Doreen Over Car Theft, Incriminating Her

Aaron Obudho Ochieng’ formerly of Standard Media  is now allegedly seeking an out of court settlement deal.

Ochieng, Ktn’s former editor, who was accused of stealing Joy Doreen Biira’s Mercedes Benz (KBY 831K) has apologized to Joy for lying and implicating her in the whole ordeal.

In earlier reports, Ochieng’ had accused Joy masterminding the whole incident but now says that he acted alone.

The two have now been asked to come to an agreement.

He was accused of stealing the 2.8 Million car that had been parked within the Standard Media premises.

Mr Ochieng was arrested on December 30 in Kisumu and later transferred to Nairobi and detained at Industrial Area police station in connection with the theft of Ms Biira’s car.

Aaron was in December 2016, charged with theft and handling of stolen goods. He denied the charged before Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Joyce Gandani. He was released on a cash bail of 300,000 or a 1 million bond.

The case will be mentioned in court on Friday, 7 July.
