On her convoy line up were Mercedes Benzes and a Rolls Royce Phantom, which first took her together with her team, to Villa Rosa Kempinski before taking her to K24’s production studio.

Her arrival was aired live on K24 and at some point they had camera men being pushed back so she could make her grand entry.

Betty will be hosting the weekend edition and her own show dubbed Weekend With Betty. She takes over from Anjlee Gadhvi who used to host the K24 weekend edition.

After the 9PM news briefing, the party was taken to Golden Ice Bistro on Mombasa road where she partied with her new colleagues including Shiksha Arora, Rose Gakuo, Eric Njoka among others.

She resigned from KTN after reportedly receiving a better offer from the mediamax station. It is not yet clear what delayed her debut but she’s finally back on air.
