Southampton have sacked coach Mark Hughes following a string of poor performances.
This despite holding Manchester United to 2-2 draw over the weekend.
“We would like to express our thanks to Mark and his staff for all of their efforts during their time at St. Mary’s.
“The search for a new manager to take the club is already underway,” a club statement reads.
The Saints are dangling in the relegation zone with just one win from 14 Premier League matches.
Highly-rated Australian Ralph Hasenhuttl formerly of RB Leipzig is poised to replace Mark, according the Independent sources.
