
AFC Leopards new coach Nikola Kavazovic has dispelled rumors linking him with a move to arch rivals Gor Mahia.
The Serbian, who joined the Den early last month, tweeted that it “couldn’t happen for a million dollars.”
The former Botswana’s Township Rollers’ manager missed Leopards preseason friendly against Ulinzi Stars at Hope Center – Kawangware Saturday morning, fueling the speculations.
It was alleged that the Serbian was on his way out of the 12-time Kenyan champions one week to the start of the 2018-19 Kenyan Premier League season after falling out with the club’s management.
The 43-year said that “rumours are the biggest evil of African football.”

Nikola explained his absence from the touchline, saying he was attending to family matters.

His assistant Tom Juma took charge of the game, recording a 2-1 win with new signing Isaac Kipyegon scoring a brace.
