Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions forward Clinton Mua N’jie has promised to “clean his image” after a leaked latter from the Cameroon FA accused him of bringing two women to camp.
According to the private latter, which went viral on social media on 11 July, two women tagged along the Marseille player, who reported late to camp on 24 May ahead of their friendly against Burkina Faso three days later.

“I was surprised a few days ago to see a private correspondence intended for me circulating on social media networks,” he said.
“As much as I am shocked by the approach, I am surprised by the content of the letter.
“I will comply with the clarifications requested before the appropriate authorities,” he added.
N’jie stated that his career and honor was under attack but, offered that he will clear his name and continue to serve his country.
“Wearing the Indomitable Lion’s jersey is a privilege and an honor, a childhood dream that has come true. I hope to be able to honor with pride and dignity as long as nature gives me the necessary strength and form.”
