Governor Mike Sonko is on the brink of impeachment from the Jubilee party after Jubilee Vice Chair, David Murathe confirmed that Governor Sonko is using the nomination of Miguna Miguna as a distraction from the work that he is not doing.

Mr Murathe stated that the impeachment has nothing to do nomination of Miguna but with the failures to deliver services in Nairobi as it was pledged by Sonko and the Jubilee party during campaigns.

The nomination of Miguna seems to be rubbing Jubilee members the wrong way and that seems like the reason why they want to impeach Governor Sonko.

Jubilee leaders have argued that Miguna’s nomination cannot be valid because he is not a member of the Jubilee party.

Nyeri Member of Parliament Ngunjiri  Wambugu stated that the “hustler” leadership will fail this country.

This current uproar  by Jubilee legislators from Mount Kenya is sending shivers among their counterparts who have their eyes set on the presidency in 2022 with Deputy president William Ruto hoping to hold the presidential ticket.
