Popular Musician, Lady Maureen was released from Tanzanian prison on Wednesday after the Royal Media Services posted for her bail today, together with some of her band members.

The Media house through Ramogi FM and Viusasa raised Tsh.4.2 million (Ksh. 186,104) to post for the bail of the singer and some of her band members.

The singer arrived in Kenya on Friday and the rest of her band members will be released on Monday since the prison administration does not work on weekends.

The singer blames her promoter for her arrest and says that language barrier between court and her members led to them being jailed.
