The High court also suspended the declaration by CS interior Matiang’i which stated that Miguna was and illegal immigrant while  giving the orders he asked that the immigration officers facilitate his re entry back to the country.

Last week the Director of immigration Gordon Kihalangwa presented a deformed passport to the high court following an order by the court to do it within seven days.

Miguna’s lawyers argued that this destruction of the passport was done in bad faith but the immigration department said that the perforation of a passport that had been retrieved was standard procedure.
