The former minority leader in the National Assembly won the MP seat in the hotly contested August 8 elections.
He on August 31 took his oath of office for a second time but with him was an oxygen tank.
The deceased had during the campaign period been said to have defected to the Jubilee party, claims he denied.
He and former Kitui Senator, David Musila had asked the people to vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta who they said was ‘development oriented.’
‘Whoever has eyes needs not be told to see the development President Uhuru has done, my people elect this man for his outstanding development,” he said in Kitui West on June 9.
His body has been moved to the Lee Funeral Home.
