netanyahuIsraeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is the chief guest at the State House Inauguration luncheon.

He was scheduled to be at Kasarani  but he landed after the ceremony of swearing had already been concluded.

His arrival puts to rest earlier reports that he had snubbed the inauguration over ‘security concerns’.

He was received by a guard of honor at the airport.

The state house head of communications also confirmed the arrival of Prime minister Netanyahu also saying that he would be chief guest.

The presidents from different African countries are said to be present at the luncheon where various heads of states and heads of delegation will continue to extend their congratulatory messages to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.

Benjamin Netanyahu had indicated that he had not been at the inauguration as that was not his sole purpose for coming to Kenya but also he was to strengthen ties with African countries.
