President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto have vowed not to allow the opposition have their way even as the Country is lodged in a political stalemate.
Kenyatta said Kenya is a country governed by the Constitution and rule of law and urged nay aggrieved parties to like him, follow the law.
“I have often called for peace and still agitate for the same and I ask the others (opposition)to follow the Constitution.”
His conspicuously agitated Deputy Ruto came bear clawed and termed Odinga as a propagator of anarchy, tribalism,ethnicity and division.
“I want to tell them they will not succeed, they will fail and fail miserably as we will not allow a few people bring down this country,” he said.
The two were speaking at the funeral of the late Nyeri Governor Gakuru Wahome.
This comes even as opposition has vowed to swear in Raila Odinga, with the latter himself declaring yesterday that a “third republic is on the way.”
A petition at the Supreme challenging Kenyatta’s election on November 26th is set for judgement on Monday(20th November)
