nasaNASA will on Thursday hold a ‘dress rehearsal rally for the grand welcome on Friday,’ opposition leaders have said.

Johnston Muthama, James Orengo and Boni Khalwale have invited ‘millions of patriots’ for the Kamukunji rally that will happen on the eve of Raila Odinga’s return from his US, UK trips.

”NASA plans a grand and befitting welcome for this indomitable and indefatigable leader. To this effect, the organisers of the grand welcome invite supporters to a major rally at the Kamukunji grounds in Kamukunji constituency in Nairobi on Thursday, November 16, 2017. The rally will be dress rehearsal for the Friday grand welcome,” the statement read in part.

These they say will contribute towards the opposition’s journey to ensuring ‘electoral justice and putting to an end the evil culture of sham elections with pre-determined outcomes.’

Earlier reports indicated that the former Prime Minister would land on Thursday but will be in the UK for two days.

During his tour of the US, the Rt. Hon Odinga spoke at the CSIS where he spoke about democracy and Kenya’s electoral system.

He accused the Jubilee government of dictatorship and threatening the Judiciary before the October 26 elections which he withdrew from.
