electionsVoters trickled in some parts of the country for the fresh elections with IEBC saying that 90% of the polling stations were opened on time and the voting commenced.

However in Nyanza and Western regions the elections are yet to begin, no officials were available and most of the roads have been barricaded with stones. IEBC says that security forces are on high alert for any incidences.Voters have also not turned up in areas such as Migori,Bondo and Siaya

In Kakamega,Kitui and Mombasa the voter turn out is very low with IEBC officials receiving very few people at the polling stations.

In Gatundu and Eldoret the voter turn out is quite high with people happy that they can finally complete the electioneering period and proceed with their lives

No incidences have been reported so far, IEBC has however blamed the low voter turn out on the bad weather.
