Johnstone Muthama has finally broken his silence about his ex wife, Agnes Kavindu, who on Monday was given a nomination certificate by Jubilee party. Agnes will be running for the Woman’s Representative seat in Machakos County.
The story made headlines after the Jubilee party handed Agnes a nomination certificate for an elective position in the county.
The Senator has come out guns blazing denying having any relationship with Agnes Kavindu saying they got divorced in 1983 and whatever Kavindu is engaged in at the moment is her business.
“I very much want to talk about that woman, She is not my wife. We parted ways in 1983 in court but i take care of my children,” he told The Standard.
The controversial politician also said that Agnes was just another woman to him since the dowry was already refunded. He continued by saying that whatever she was involved in was none of his business because she was not going to be buried in his home after all.
Muthama who is known for not mincing his words also said he was not aware if Jubilee was using her to embarrass him adding that she is only clinging on his name which is criminal.
The August 8 poll will be interesting, pinning exes against each other.
