Kenyan Woman, Dorothy Ouma, Honoured by Texas Police Department for 30 Years Service

A Kenyan who is working as a police service assistant with the Arlington Police Department in Texas was on Thursday honoured by the department for her outstanding long service

Dorothy Ouma who marked her 30th anniversary with the US Police service, was congratulated for her tenure recognised at a meeting where the Police Department’s Manager, Assistant Chief Jaime Ayala, was present.

In a message posted also on Facebook, Chief Ayala said,

This week, we congratulate Dorothy Ouma on her 30-year service anniversary. Dorothy was recognized at yesterday’s Manager Meeting by Assistant Chief Jaime Ayala. She is one of the department’s hardest working Police Service Assistants and we’re so proud to have her a part of our team! Thanks for all you do.

Dorothy is also on Facebook and might just be the inspiration which Kenya police needs. She hails from Rabuor area in Kobura, Kisumu County.
