CONFIDENTIAL: The Letter Kenya Wrote to UN asking for Termination of the ICC Cases

Kenya is asking the UN security council to terminate the ICC cases against Uhuru Kenyatta and William arguing that the cases were not well intentioned and does not respect Kenya’s sovereignty. In a note verbale sent to the UN through Macharia Kamau in New York, Kenya is arguing that the ICC cases are being used by western powers to undermine the voices of Kenyans.

The country further argue that there is no case since the communities which had been indicated as having fought have now reconciled and so taking action against Uhuru and Ruto might just undermine the peaceful atmosphere the country has enjoyed.

Controversial but very bold top Kenyan blogger, Robert Alai, posted the note verbale online. You can view it below.
