Die Kivuitu Die!! You Can’t be Cleansed Just Because You Have Cancer

By Robert Alai

So NTV interviewed former Electoral Commission of Kenya Chairman, Samuel Kivuitu. Kivuitu was the in-charge of Kenya’s elections in  2007. His premature and disputed announcement of the winner in a dark room somewhere with only state broadcaster, KBC, present sparked more fears of rigging. His actions after that did not help with Martha Karua having sneaked him to State House to go and Present Kibaki with a certificate as the eventual winner of the 2007 elections.

At the almost late night swearing in of Kibaki where even the President had a slip of tongue to say that he swears to be mhalifu (thug) and not mwaminifu (trustworthy), Kivuitu arrogantly retorted how he was doing this to stop any masqueraders.

On the interview which was aired by NTV on 29th December, Kivuitu blamed Kibaki on everything. Kivuti said how the stage for dispute on elections was set by Kibaki refusing blatantly to consult the opposition as set in the IPPG agreement. Kivutiu then went further to blame everybody including politicians, ECK commissioners (whom he said he had no full control over) and what he called the “unseen forces”.

Kivuitu clarified that he never said that he was not sure of the winner of the 2007 elections as shown in one of the most played clip after the 2007/2008 fiasco. “I only said that I was not sure that Kibaki won FAIRLY because as a lawyer, the word fairly is more factual”, Kivuitu said.

Kivuitu on NTV

After the interview, I posted my thought both on Twitter and Facebook. I said that I believe that Kivuitu came out as a killer the way he was dressed in the interview (imagine a frail old man in a hoodie) and that I believe that he should die so fast. Some supporters of Kivuitu (90% of the negative reaction came from ethnic Kikuyus and the 10% from Kambas and other tribes) thought that I was wrong in  praying that Samuel Kivuitu die quickly.

Some claimed how their relatives have died of cancer and so I should not be praying badly for cancer patients. This lot of reactionaries I believe were just looking for attention. I was not praising how Cancer was a good disease. I was just praying and continue to pray that SAMUEL KIVUITU die so quickly he wont notice it.

The fact that Kivuitu rigged a Kikuyu into power and set emotions higher than it could have been should not make Kikuyus think that he is a God. Any Kikuyu or supporter of Kibaki who thinks that just because Kivuitu rigged Kibaki in then he must be protected is simply playing the ethnic chauvinism card on me. You did not get salary raise just because you are a Kikuyu and a Kikuyu mainatined power. The presidency of Kibaki has led to the killing of a very big number of Kikuyu young men under the guise of Mungiki crackdowns. The same presidency led to more than 2000 Kenyans being killed in 2007/2008 post-election violence in Kenya and the community which suffered most and continue to suffer is the Kikuyu community. So the Kikuyu elites and idle middle income earners thinks that stay on power of Kikuyus is a great thing to cherish.

Any sane Kikuyu will know that for Kenya to be progressive and for us to have ethnic cohesion, Kikuyus must avoid seeking the presidency in 2012. That is the BLUNT fact. You cannot consistently think that no other community is better placed to lead the country called Kenyans than Kikuyus or without a Kikuyu running mate. That is another very BLUNT FACT. When Hassan Omar raised these issues, he was called names and others issued fatwa silently or loudly against him. Facts are Facts Kenyans.

Conversation on Mashada after the Hassan Omar article.

It would have been very easy to forget the MoU debacle, post referendum actions of Kibaki and his blatant arrogance before and after the 2007 general elections. The problem is that in all appointments Kibaki has made, he has neither taken into consideration the coalition agreement, the constitution or even ethnic distribution in the country. Kenyans are bitter when we must have a purely Kikuyu boardroom affair in KRA, Energy Ministry, Finance, Trade, Aviation or Security sectors.

Another thing is that Kivuitu had a chance to resign before or after the bungled elections and he had a chance to stand his ground and stop the likes of Kihara Mutu, Martha Karua, Kiraitu Murungi and Michuki. He chickened out of sane senses and decided to arrogantly burn the country. He CANNOT and WILL NEVER be cleansed just by the fact that he has cancer. I don’t mind what Kivuitu dies of or the fact that some thinks that I will get cancer just because I wish him death through cancer. What I want to see very soon is the grave of Kivuitu. I will gladly sit on his corpse, cook some Sukuma Wiki and praise the name of the gentle God who takes evil souls.

Die Kivuitu Die!!!!

  1. You are also a tribalist with a bias towards your Luo tribe and that means you have no authority to criticize your fellow tribalists.Am sure you would be sympathetic with Kivuitu if he rigged in your man. Please spare us the bitterness you have carried and remove the log from your eye

  2. You have the point but lack the words. Euphemism is to a writer what the gloves are to a boxer. In Africa, we dont go wishing people death, even our enemies. At least not aloud. Spitting at corpses? Now that’s overstrechting it.

All kind of ish went down in 2007 and we all know that. What Kenya needs is some reconciliatory vibe. You cant change Kikuyus by talking down at them. Let’s all try to be positive in 2012. & like I said, Nice Point.

  3. I real understand and feel the way you feel, all you have said is true.It comes a time in the life of some one or the position that someone holds like Esther in the bible when you have the outhority to save or imprese one person and kill many people.Like Marende who has tried to save the life of many and ignore the porachial interest of many politicians for many politicians are selfish.Mine is just to forget the past of Kivuitu and concentrate as we realy pray for the one who has taken over that commission Mr.ISAAC HASSAN, may God give him wisdom as the hickups has already started by the date of election.THANKS!

  4. First of all i need some clarity, what are the FACTS an whats the dictum here? Do you want kivuitu to get justice for his actions or just see him dead? If the later you’re a disgrace to the society since that will only give him an exit from facing the full force of law when the time is due. Secondly, you are depicting yourself as a sadist who never thinks of the root of an issue but wish those who dissapoint you evil.

My second concern is: where you trying to justify your call for kivuitu’s death or you just wanted to show us your bad blood towards the kikuyu? Its so bad to bo so tribal as you are and you infact owe kenyans an appology for that. You would have called your article bad kikuyus than lie to us and thats what u wanted us to read.

Finaly, just a reminder, next time try and be reasonable and diplomatic, as kenyans we are looking for a good leader who can prove his leadership qualities and not a NON-KIKUYU!

    • You have a point but must admit having a bias towards the Kikuyu. Who doesn’t know that this ethnic group has given Kenya the worst leadership than anyone else ever? And what is wrong with saying it loud? Let the truth be told and ashame the devil.

  5. Easy, Rob. Easy! The interview shocked me… the man in a hoodie was so different from Kivuitu. I don’t know what is *** bosses were thinking of when they were watching him.

  6. This is why an uncircumcised man from Luoland will never be President. It will be like the biblical proverb. A camel passing through the eye of a needle. Secondly, this shows that if we dare vote for a Luo, he will avenge all mistakes. May you die of cancer! Even though HIV ni homa in Luoland

  7. One’s death can only be determined by GOD. We should not judge others because we are all sinners. Anyway may we vote in a visionary leader who will unite us all.

  8. I pity demagogues lyk u.., u lost ua bro recently (was he paying 4 2007 election or 4 elevating kikuyu’s to positions of power?) n countless msgs were sent 2 u from sincere kenyans irrespective of tribal affiliations … N now u’ve got the temerity 2 wish a fellow kenyan, death.
As much as u r entitled 2 ua opinion, kyuks owe u nothing, if ua uncle thought he’d get power thro back door n had promised u n ua fellow kinsmen perks n plots owned by the enemy… u missed that bus cos kenyans said so (luo’s r not the only kenyans)…
As 4 next elections the majority will carry the day… So zaeni…

  9. fist ua article is so dry,deprived of da basic spices that make reading interesting.who r u 2 sentence smbdy 2 death?anyway stupidity is a disease n i wish u quick recovery,asshole!

  10. Pls not everyone who comments negatively on Kikuyus are luo and vice versa. I think all of u guyz are sick. Can we spare our tribes out of our personal differences with individuals within those tribes. If I open my mouth to speak dnt equate me with any political leader. I am Moses and not Kibaki, Kilonzo, Raila, Ruto or whoever

  11. Dear God,

I see a lot of bitterness in Robert Alai. I pray that you will help him to deal with the hatred in his heart and to learn to let go of the things that we have no control over. I know you love him so much and that you are able to turn his heart away from this vengeful attitude.
I also acknowledge that there are many who raped, murdered and committed many crimes against innocent Kenyans during the PEV of 2007/2008. Most of them continue to walk free but we know that the cries of those who suffered then will not silenced until justice is brought to them. So we will keep on praying and fighting for this justice on this earth.

  12. I didn’t support Kiviutu’s action but still i salute his principles before hand and i forgave him.Nobody is entitled to wish others death.

  13. Many Kenyans like the author of that blog are sick. Sick with tribalism. The problem is not the Kikuyu. We can have a president from any part of Kenya but so long as he is like Kenyatta, Kibaki, Moi, Raila, Mudavadi, Balala, etc— majority Kenyans will always be in a shit.

If in every elective position we can remove anyone who has been an MP or a Councillor, any one who has ever served in Kenyatta, Moi, or Kibaki government —- we can have a fresh start. I am a Kikuyu, and I dont agree with the “robbery” Jomo Kenyatta spearheaded which is the cause of many problems today. For Uhuru to contest for presidency it is a mockery of Kenyan people. And for the so called saint Raila, he and Kibaki- should pay for post election violence. Kibaki ok stole the elections, and Raila openly said dont kill the kisii, they are our brothers, but never called for stop killing kikuyus. The two principals and some of their follows belong to jail.

  14. Thanx 4 the offer but i’ll pass that one… U shouldn’t dish out crap if u can’t take it. Wishing ill of someone who doesn’t subscribe 2 ua school of thought is a low of lows, (but this am saying 2 the ‘educated’). As 4 being who i am, ‘ndi mugikuyu’ not cos of presso or whoever is supposed 2 dish favours but by Right.

  15. My beef with Kivuitu is that he ignored his moral responsibility which in my opinion was far more important that his legal responsibility but that is no reason to hate him. I bet his conscience serves him right now. I hate ethnic bigotry that is baseless. Kenya has been tribalized and that’s a fact but it’s not reason enough to pour vitriol unnecessarily. I saw people being chopped to death and in retrospection, I realized that in war everybody is vulnerable and your man being in power may favour you less. Be careful therefore what you say coz when Kenya burns in 2012 you may not escape.

  16. For as much as this guy has said, i agree with every point he has written. Kivuitu if not because of your silly mistakes Kneya would not have burned, there would be no IDPs, Pleas may you die early of Cancer. Feel the pain most kenyans bore when you had a beefy of bodyguards. you thougt God will never punish you.

  17. Pole Mr. Kivuitu, that is not the end of life. leave it to God since He loves you. It is really shocking to see the man Kenyan had trusted looking like that. To you Robert: Look at that adulterous woman with Jesus and her accusers. Jesus said let him who has not sinned throw the first stone. You seem to be the first person to throw that stone when in the bible all the accusers left the woman with Jesus. If Kivuitu deserves death lets leave it to God the giver and taker of life. Ask for forgiveness Robert.

  18. You are the lowest of the low, you hide behind your words to show how sick you are, beating your tribal war drums against kikuyu, you too will die, or soon suffer the same illness, why wish the poor man death? Don’t you know it’s against African culture to wish someone death? You have gone too far, Kenya has its problems, but we are now stupid, Kivuitu is a victim of circumstances dictated by the same hyenas you are portraying as reformists, so cut your crap and let Kivuitu be.

  19. Fuck you Robert’re so tribalist.although i dint agrre with Kivuitu..just 4gave him and move forward.Kenya has so many problems from failing shilling to Al shaabab!

  20. who let this maniac post such crazy absurd opinions? as much as u want to convince people u know better n how learned u r ….ur ignorant , arrogant, n having people like u in our community will only continue causing more chaos n this just shows what a low life u r ur just carrying and brewing a lot of hate ur sick n u need psychological help u sound like a psycho u shouldn’t be allowed to work in any media house

  21. Kivuitu announced the flawed election results without mincing any words from his throat, and now its the same throat thats about to kill him. Die quik kivuitu!

  22. Now that he is dead what is there to celebrate.jus know that you are next if u happen to be alive.RIP chairman i dont keep grudges

  23. Am living with a cancer and you should never wish someone something like this. on the other hand; you can go fuck yourself. and btw, go get circumcised, might help you think like an adult.

  24. WTF!!!u are sooo stupid I wonder where u came from.How do u wish some1 death atakama u are a tribalist.U are old bt u never think,silly,retarded n mad!!!
U are the one who will die soon,u dnt realize curses are real u must be the devil himself!Only shit comes out of ya smelly mouth n yappn all the time like women without any facts,,,kihii nu kihii maa thie ukarue ngoma eno

  25. well i concur with you on most statements with exception of the cursing factor. Kenyan leadership is always full of embezzlement of funds, presidents expanding their wealths. We cannot claim a luo leader will avenge for all the turmoils they were subjected to,due to a Kikuyu president. We have laws. And this time round i hope we will have a president from a different ethnic community.

  26. if only you God fearing u would be having something good and worthy than abusing pple even if it was Raila who was announced as presiden nothing mch have been done.

  27. Robert watever u shuld be ashamed of urself u evil human being.people like u should not even be kenyans.Am sure ur own mother still has labour pains for giving birth to a monster like you.How silly are you to post such a thing?Let me tell u something because am sure u luck education no wonder ur pathetic, these words you wrote will haunt you for the rest of your life one day u will look back n regret.Don’t forget that no matter what he did he was a father, brother and son to someone,if u have parents think twice, repent and pray because this evil words u cursed some one might befal ur loved ones.Be careful what u wish for others because it might bounce back to u and when u die of tht cancer ur wishing others to die from the devil will sit on your grave eating sukumawiki like u wanted to do for kivuitu.plz think twice u might b next
