Twitter Rolling Out a Major Redesigned Look

Twitter seems to be introducing a new redesigned look for both Twitter.Com and Tweetdeck. Twitter hopes that the new look will simplify the experience of the millions of users on the micro-blogging site.

There is a total change of layout where tweets now appear on the right while the redesigns also sees the introductions of Home, @Connect and #Discover links at the top of the page. #Discover will show the trending topics while @connect will show who has mentioned you and what accounts you might want to follow.

Twitter has also launched brand pages in partnership with American Express, Best Buy, Bing, Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, Dell, Disney, General Electric, Hewlitt-Packard, Intel, JetBlue, Kia, McDonald’s, Nike, PepsiCo, Staples, Verizon Wireless, NYSE Euronext, Heineken, Subway and Paramount Pictures.

According to Advertising Age, the brand pages will let advertisers customize their headers to make their logo and tagline more prominent. Brands will also be able to stick one tweet on top of their Twitter stream.

The mobile apps for both iPhone and Android have also been updated. You can check the new Twitter showcased here
