Further to my previous post, Secure coding nirvana, I would like to engage with individuals who are committed to the establishment of a Kenyan chapter of OWASP.
While OWASP has several chapters around the world, there are only two chapters in Africa, in Egypt and Nigeria. Kenya can be the third country on the continent to have one.
I have been made aware of how active the Kenyan software development community is courtesy of the BBC’s Digital Planet podcasts and I strongly believe that setting up OWASP Kenya will further raise the profile of Kenyan developers globally.
OWASP London and OWASP Greece are more than happy to lend a hand, so Kenyan software developers, over to you.
