Auma Obama, sister to former US President Barack Obama has condemned the ethnic animosity that has been meted on people of the Luo community especially NASA supporters.
She pointed out that while poor Kenyans were on the streets fighting for the political class the rich interests are guarded.
Auma was particularly referring to the Tuesday raid at billionaire, Jimmy wanjigi’s Muthaiga home that saw NASA leader, Raila Odinga go to his rescue.
Ms Obama notes that the Luo (Odinga) was protecting a Kikuyu (Wanjigi) from another Kikuyu, in this case President Uhuru Kenyatta.
‘Luo stays at Kikuyu resident to protect Kikuyu from Kikuyus,” she said on Twitter.
The ‘Then Life Happens’ Author notes that the move should be food for thought for all Kenyans who pin Luos against the Kikuyu people.

”This is surely food for thought. Think KENYAN!!!” she continued.
Auma has on different occasions urged Kenyans to stand together and build the nation instead of fighting each other.
Wanjigi on Wednesday declared his unwavering support for the NASA leader.
